Welcome to MABB 2018 – Malmö Artist’s book Biennial 2018 organised by Mediaverkstaden Skåne!
MABB – Malmö Artist’s Book Biennial, will be a Swedish and International exhibition and selling platform for art works that are inspired by the structural and conceptual properties of the book form.
MABB, arranged for the first time 2018, will invite both national and international artists, publishers, booksellers and organizations to participate in the first International fair for artist’s books in Sweden – an art genre that is attracting more and more attention.
The fair will be held at Victoriateatern in the centre of Malmö. The 100 years old theatre has visitors from all ages and backgrounds. It is a nationally recognized scene that mixes film, theater, stand-up, music etc. Once a year the theatre parquet is site for a small publisher book fair.
It is situated within a 5-minute walk from Triangeln train station, with a 30-minute connection to the Danish capital Copenhagen and Copenhagen International Airport.
MABB2018 Artist’s Book Fair: 20.4 12–6 pm & 21.4 11 am–5 pm.
Seminars will be held at Malmö Konsthall, 11.4 7–9 pm, 18.4 7–9 pm and 22.4 11–12 am and 1–2.45 pm.
Workshops for professional artists will take place on Sunday at KKV Grafik, Hedi Kyle´s folded book structures – workshop at KKV Grafik 22.4 1–4 PM, KKV Grafik, Malmö
Malmö Konsthall Helgverkstad, The world’s longest book!, is open for everyone 21.4–22.4 1–4.30 pm.
